A 1949 movie palace, back in lights

The Ro-Na opened in 1949 and showed films until 1973. After decades dark, the community brought it back: the neon marquee was relit in May 2014, and a state-supported renovation returned the auditorium, balcony, and stage to working life.

Spaces with showmanship

From the main auditorium to meeting rooms, the Tavern, and the marquee itself, the Ro-Na puts a restored Art Deco landmark to work for your event — community celebrations and corporate conferences alike.

Community & private events

Weddings, recitals, fundraisers, film nights, reunions, and celebrations — this building was brought back by the community, for exactly these.

The Conference Center

Conferences, trainings, and corporate meetings with a general session in a real theater — a venue your attendees will actually remember.

Friends of Ironton

Keep the marquee lit

The Ro-Na is owned and operated by Friends of Ironton, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The same thing that rebuilt this theater keeps it running: people who show up.
